David and Todd at Mosaic were amazing to work with. They both are so nice, personable, and great to get along with. The job they did on our patio was OUTSTANDING. We had our concrete slab patio extended, and then added Travertine stone tile to the top and sides. The tile work is gorgeous. The french layout beautifully flows, and they cut the tiles so they perfectly fit into the brick sides on our house and patio columns. The rounded bullnose tiles add a gorgeous frame to the patio edge. Highly highly recommend working with these guys and this company! We can't wait to start phase 2 of our backyard renovation with them!

Our experience with Mosaic Outdoor living, as well as all of the sub-contractors could not have been better. The results are just what we wanted, and we used our patio frequently in the winter, as well as early spring.

We used Mosaic to redo our deck and install a patio and outdoor kitchen. The project turned out great. They even worked the day after getting 26 inches of snow!!!! The whole team is easy to work with and puts customer service to the forefront. We plan on installing a pool in the future and they will be helping us with that. We can't wait to work with them again. Todd, our project manager, was awesome to work with and always responsive. David, is also always available to talk to and came up with a beautiful plan!

I love our new deck! From start to finish, the team at Mosaic Outdoor Living and Colorado Custom Decks was professional, quick to respond, and worked efficiently. I couldn't believe how fast the old deck was torn down and the new one installed! Our project manager, Chris Palacios, was very helpful, attentive, and easy to get a hold of. Chris immediately addressed any concerns I had. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and always greeted me with a smile. Overall working with this company was a pleasant experience. We looked at several companies to build our new deck and Mosaic stood out above them for so many reasons (most transparent, flexible and willing to listen to your preferences). We were very fortunate to work with Klint (one of the owners) who was amazing all around. He shared his philosophy that they would do what it took to make sure we were very happy with the end product. One year later we couldn't be more thrilled with our new deck (which is the envy of our neighborhood)! The quality of the materials were high end and our project manager (Michael) never tried to cut corners in any way. The only thing that did not go according to plan was the timeline to completion originally set forth, but that was not the company's fault as it had to due with material delays from covid. We couldn't be more thrilled with using Mosaic and highly recommend them for anyone wanting a high quality new deck!

We contracted with Mosaic to replace our old deck and build something in the existing location but with a larger footprint in Boulder. They were extremely professional and easy to work with from design to build. They were transparent on pricing and delivered exactly what was planned. William and team came earlier than expected and the construction crew were fast, skilled, and very professional. Would highly recommend them if you're looking to build something in Boulder County!

I can't say enough about Mosaic Outdoor Living. I highly recommend them. When we first met with Mosaic, Andy Hashman, I knew we made the right choice. Andy took our thoughts and desires, and put it to paper and design. The designed turned out better than we imagined. We were excited to see the end product. We did a large concrete patio and pool which included a Large Pergola with outdoor heaters, 2 large fire features, raised stone beds and stone seat walls that surrounded the patio with outdoor accent lighting and sound system, a large outdoor kitchen including renovating our covered patio ceiling, adding two in ceiling heaters and a motorized sun shade. Once the design was approved it was turned over to the construction team. I am in the construction field, so my expectations were high. Scott Thibeault, Project Manager, was the best to work with. He did a wonderful job. His communication was spot on and always kept me up to date. The team was group of Top Notch Professionals. Even when there were some changes on my part after we started, Scott was prompt in answering my questions and making the necessary changes. He was always delivering the right customer service and making sure I was satisfied. Mosaic Outdoor Living is a great company to do business with. From Sales to Design to Construction, They are the best for your outdoor project needs. I couldn't be more pleased. No need to search anymore. Mosaic are the ones to call. We first met Andy @Mosaic about 5 years ago. Our deck was falling apart and needed to be rebuilt. Andy came up with a much-improved design that allows us to use the deck much more often than we used to. We have motorized shades now to block the sun and Colorado winds, and heat lamps to extend our season. Below the deck is a dry-below system with twinkle lights. Gorgeous. The deck design and construction were top notch. Andy has a flair for design and steered us the right way for materials, railings, lighting, accessories, etc. at every step of the project. More recently, in 2021 we were planning a major backyard landscaping project. A premier Denver vendor led us in endless circles. They tried to push the cost to 2-3X what we had budgeted to spend. Andy came in and rescued our project! Mosaic has partnered with an excellent landscaping company. Andy and his team did the initial design, then Angel Mendias (owner of A&J Landscaping) did most of the implementation. Mosaic built out a small deck surround for our hot tub and coordinated to design and build a custom metallic fire pit. Our landscaping project came out wonderful, and we owe a lot of the credit to Andy and his flair for design along with his expertise in deck and outdoor construction. The initial costs might be somewhat higher than other firms, but we feel that having a well-designed, attractive, durable and solidly constructed project is worth the extra cost of going with Mosaic. Wow! Andy, Scott and their crew were absolutely AMAZING!!! They blew us out of the water with their Vision and CAD design of our deck. sarah was super helpful and handled our HOA. Once construction began, they were on time, reliable, responsive and did quality work! Our composite deck is huge and includes 2 pergolas, custom railing, firewall, 2 water fountains, in-deck hot tub, heaters and more. It is beyond incredible. We LOVE spending time on our deck. They really made our backyard our own personal oasis. Also, they have integrity, which is a quality that is hard to find these days. After completion, THEY noticed a flaw in our firewall stone top and said they would replace the entire thing (10-15’ worth!) right away. It didn’t bother us so we said they didn’t have to, but they insisted. They stand by their work and we are so grateful…and impressed!!! Thanks, Guys!

I must say that Mosaic is the best deck building company in the entire Front Range area! Our particular circumstance is that we live in the mountains and have a steep and challenging lot. My initial vision was to build a 10,000 square foot deck. Andy came out the the house and designed a beautiful large deck, not quite 10k square feet but still huge at 2100 square feet. The deck has two levels and is three stories off the ground at the highest point. It was quite an endeavor, with at least 5 workers working five days a week for months. This deck included two natural gas fire pits and a 9 foot hot tub, as well as a large island for grilling. We also had electrical put in for the large infrared heaters on the main level. We did have another company bid for the project before Andy, but they didn't have the manpower, and could only build the structure out of wood, whereas the Mosaic deck is made with steel joists, large Douglas fir beams, and covered with a durable composite lumber material wrapped in a hardened plastic that looks like wood and has wood grain grooves in it. We had to do this for durability since the deck faces south and gets bombarded by intense mountain sun. The deck has been holding up since it was finished three years ago in 2019. We have had so many parties on the deck, as well as many family get togethers. We have planted 12 trees on the deck which are set in massive 300 lb planters. The deck is so sturdy that Andy wanted to build a ramp up to the deck and park an F-150 pickup on it for a photo op! To ensure our beautiful deck was covered under our homeowners insurance policy, our insurance agent, who is also the director of the Evergreen Fire District, stated that the deck would be standing even if the house was destroyed. Now, we have a new project with Mosaic that consists of finishing the ground level patio area to match the deck. It will mostly consist of rock and is in the footprint of the large main deck. We couldn't be happier with Andy and his team!
